We were honoured to be part of the Cranbrook Memorial Arena upgrade project that included nearly $3.6 million in renovations and updates. This unique project presented a few challenges:
- The necessity for a uniformly flat arena floor.
- A customized mix design
- A tight schedule
BA Concrete was selected by Bry Sand Concrete, an operation that has over 20 years’ experience building arena floors, to provide a special mix designed to their specifications. Working with their finishers to help ensure a uniformly flat and structurally sound arena slab, we poured over 300 cubic metres in a single session.
